Each board is treated with food safe board oil. All artwork is sealed with FDA compliant epoxy resin for incidental food contact. It is not recommended to place food on top of Epoxy Resin.
Each piece is handmade in a home studio, and may have small imperfections on the surface of the resin such as fine bubbles, ripples, or small particles that have found a way into the artwork and cured within the resin during the 24-48 hour curing stage. CARE INSTRUCTIONS FOR SERVING BOARDS:
- Some pieces include real broken glass/crystal pieces and can be very sharp. Be sure to use caution while handling.
- Epoxy Resin is UV sensitive. Appropriate UV blockers are used in the formula but may yellow over time with exposure to sunlight. Keep all pieces out of direct sunlight.
- Epoxy Resin can be easily scratched and marked. Avoid use of chemical and abrasive cleaners. Clean with window cleaner and soft cloth. To remove dust in textured areas, use a microfiber duster.
- Wood serving boards will need to be conditioned with cutting board oil and wax regularly. This will prevent cracking and splitting.
- Hand wash only with damp cloth and dish soap. Do NOT place in dishwasher or soak.
- Serving boards are not intended for hot objects.
